Mantsbrite launches new Koden Echo Sounder
8 July 2012
Mantsbrite Limited is now supplying the new Koden FX2BB broadband echo sounder to its 175 strong UK and Ireland dealer network.
The Koden FX2BB is a multi-frequency black box echo sounder with broadband transducer – an exceptional tool for the commercial user. It is possible to choose any four frequencies between 38kHz and 75kHz, 85kHz and 135kHz or 130kHz and 210kHz, and to display all four frequency images simultaneously. The frequency can be adjusted in 0.1khz steps for precise tuning and best response when looking for specific fish species or when used for seabed ground discrimination. With these features, the Koden CVS-FX2BB is suitable for commercial fishing or survey purposes.
There are six Condition Memory keys for immediate recall of preferred user set-ups, and Koden Digital Filtering (KDF™) technology provides extremely high image resolution and low noise materialisation. In addition to these remarkable features, the FX2BB black box echo sounder connects to any XGA type display.
Mantsbrite Managing Director David Ash comments: “The Koden FX2BB is a technically advanced product that allows the commercial user to fine tune the echo sounder frequency to suit their needs. With up to four variable frequencies simultaneously displayed fish species and ground discrimination are excellent. I’m proud that Mantsbrite, as Koden’s exclusive UK distributor, is now introducing it to the British market place.”
The FX2BB is one of the Koden products which will be covered in the first Koden Technical Training Course which Mantsbrite is hosting at the Hilton London Stansted Airport Hotel for its dealers on 11 July 2012.
