SM Group (Europe) Ltd., the United Kingdoms exclusive distributor for Australia’s leading marine electronic equipment manufacturer GME, have heard how a GME MT400 406 Mhz was activated in Northern Australia to alert the rescue authorities.

Icom (UK) Ltd and Greenham Regis were recipients at the recent BMEA Conference awards, which were voted by the general public online this year.

Raymarine’s new A Series range of chartplotter/fishfinders combine all the technology and performance of the company’s top of the range multi function displays in a brand new compact unit. The five new models, on public preview at this year’s Autumn boat shows and available early November, have been well received by boat owners keen to harness the latest developments in technology migration.

Raymarine’s High Definition Digital Sounder Modules have already caused a stir amongst fishermen, who are using this new technology to actively target specific fish thanks to the high clarity underwater and sea bed vision available.

Raymarine, has appointed Nigel Hampson as its International Business
Manager; and promoted Fiona Pankhurst to Head of Corporate Marketing & PR, and
Chloe Bartle to the new position of UK Marketing Manager. All are based at the
company’s headquarters at Anchorage Park, Portsmouth.
